Thanks to HTC for preparing their next release tagged the HTC A16. HTC M10 launch was recently postponed to this April, which was said to be on MWC stage. After the small disappointment from the company, users got a good news as the A16 will be soon ready to reach the market. But, maybe after the M10 launch. As there are many models to be launched at the MWC, expecting it there is not practical because the M10 is still to be revealed which was on the news even before the A16.
Recently Evan Blass (@evleaks) revealed the pictures of 6 color variants of the HTC A16 on his twitter timeline. Images look pretty good with some vast changes in design from the previous flagships. Colors are punchier than the previous versions. Below is the leaked image of the 6 variants.
As you can see, they looks good with an elegant design. Some shiny dots are poured over the cover to give a modern look for the phone. Sides also looks pretty much good. They accepted a different design on the sides by providing a plane color for the sides which differs the buttons in two different colors. Thickness is not that much improved from the side view of the A16.
The exact specs of the HTC A16 are not yet out officially. But, there are many rumors stating the specs. A16 may be having a 5-inch 1280×720 display as we seen on many HTC models so far. Two cameras with 8.0MP for the back and 5.0MP for the front may power the photos on the phone. Under the hood there may be a 1.5GB RAM coupled with 8GB ROM that can be expanded by Micro-SD card. The exact expandable amount is not yet available on rumors. But, users can expect at least 32GB or expansion on the device. A 2200mah battery will power the system. Battery capacity looks average but enough for regular usage.
The device will be priced around $150 which is a quite reasonable price for the HTC devices. It also offers a good specs sheet for this price tag. So, the HTC A16 may be one of the affordable devices released by HTC so far. Actually, there are no official confirmations about the release date of the device. But, some rumors stating that it will be somewhere on the April or May after the launch of the MWC. Others are also stating that it may be on the MWC stage. But the possibility for the MWC release is very low because the M10 is still in the garage.
