Huawei Honor 8 was on the news for the last few weeks. Ending the rumors and speculations, Huawei launched the device at an event held in Delhi. We were also there to cover the even live. The device camera is the most attractive thing in the Honor 8 that is almost similar to the previous Huawei P9. The pricing just amazed the fans as it is only around Rs. 29,999. At the event, they also launched a couple more devices namely Huawei Honor 8 Smart and Huawei Honor Holly 3. These two variants come with low specs as well as the pricing. The Honor 8 smart is priced Rs. 19,999 while the Holly 3 is set for just Rs. 9,999.
While talking about the specs of the Honor 8, it has the same dual camera system on the back as the Huawei P9 as you seen before. One sensor is RGB and the other one is monochrome. The 5.2 inch 1080p display of the device is equipped with the 2.5D glass on the front while the backside is covered with rounded edges. At the heart of the smartphone, there is the Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor (Cortex-A72 4 x 2.3GHz + ARM Cortex-A53 4 x 1.8GHz, Mali-T880) supported by the 4GB RAM and 32GB. The front camera has an 8.0-megapixel resolution which is not bad for the price. The Honor 8 is fueled by a 3000mAh battery.
Coming to the Honor 8 Smart, it is built with an aluminum alloy frame, 5.2-inch 1080p display, 13.0-megapixel Sony IMX214 rear camera, 8.0-megapixel front camera, Kirin 650 processor, and a 3000mAh battery. The Honor Holly 3 is the first ever Huawei smartphone manufactured in India. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 13.0-megapixel rear camera, 8.0-megapixel front camera, and a 3100mAh battery.
