Today, we are likely to see the new Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro. And there are many new features that are expected in these two phones.

One without a hard notch, the other with facial recognition
The notch has been adopted by most manufacturers (with the exception of Samsung among the largest), and Huawei seems to be betting on it in their new phones. Of course, it will be of different sizes and with different functions depending on the model.
In the Huawei Mate 20, according to the renderings made by XDA, it will have a tiny notch, enough to include the front camera. This design especially reminds the Essential Phone, which only has the notch for the front camera and without the headset or other elements interfering with the screen. A fingerprint sensor on the back will be responsible for unlocking the phone.
On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 20 will present a bigger notch. The leaks indicate that this Huawei flagship will have facial recognition. For this, you need an infrared sensor that makes a 3D mapping of the face. This VSCEL sensor will be similar to the one used by Apple in its iPhone with Face ID and will be incorporated in the notch. There is no trace of the fingerprint sensor. What is maintained is a lower framework in both models.
It is also known that Huawei planned to announce Mate 20 with larger and bigger size namely, Huawei Mate 20 X.
A Kirin 980 processor packed with artificial intelligence
Little by little the Kirin processors of Huawei have shown that they can be a more than a decent alternative to the Qualcomm that most Android manufacturers assemble. The new Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro will come with a Kirin processor inside, as indicated, with the new Kirin 980.
