Apple is all set to launch new Mac and iPad Pro at its event later today. This event will be held at the Brooklyn Arts Centre by the company. However, Apple will not disappoint its present iOS users as well. This is because Apple is going to release the latest version of iOS today.

This version of iOS is named as iOS 12.1 which comes as an improvement to iOS 12. Now, we shall discuss more of the latest version of iOS. Also, we will let you know what are the things that will be bundled with iOS 12.1

First of all, iOS 12.1 will come with the much-awaited Group Facetime feature. This means that after the update you can do facetime with a group of people at the same time. We all know that Facetime is a massively popular feature in iOS and Group Facetime is a major improvement to it.

Group Facetime will let you facetime with up to 32 people at the same time. Therefore, this feature should be a boon for people who have a larger group.

Another thing which is an update to Facetime is that it now auto-detects speakers. Thus, the person who is speaking in the group facetime will automatically be brought to the front. Otherwise, there will be bubbles seen with the people who are connected to the group facetime. If you want to chat with any person, in particular, you need to tap on their face and they will be seen on the front.

On the other hand, there will be a fix to the iPhone Xs’ “beauty gate” as well. The beauty gate is basically an over-smoothening issue found on the iPhone Xs and Xs Max. One major improvement with this update will also be the ability to add dual SIM functionality to the iPhone Xs and Xr.
