As expected, Apple announced a host of new products at the Apple October event. We already know that Apple announced the latest MacBook Air as well as the new Mac Mini in the event. However, there was more in store from the company in the form of latest iPad Pro.

Everyone anticipated that Apple would announce a new iPad Pro and the company didn’t disappoint. The latest iPad Pro was announced and it is a thing of beauty. As far as the design is concerned, the latest iPad Pro is now built with tapered edges, similar to the iPhone SE.

Other than that, the iPad Pro display is now edge-to-edge which means that the bezels are narrower now. This also means that the home button has been removed from the bottom. Now, you will be able to use Face ID on the iPad Pro as well. Other changes include the addition of USB Type C on the iPad Pro. Same as the iPhones, the headphone jack has now been removed from the iPad Pro. The latest iPad Pro comes in two screen sizes, an 11-inch one and another 12.9-inch one.

Moreover, the iPad Pro now has an LCD display which Apple calls as “Liquid Retina” display. This display is same as the one found on the iPhone Xr. One major difference between the previous iPad Pro and this one is that you now have to navigate on it through gestures. This means you now have similar gestures to the iPhone X and Xs for the iPad Pro as well.

So that the iPhone users can get used to the single navigation system across the ecosystem. Thankfully, the iPad Pro doesn’t have a notch even though it has Face ID.

In terms of Indian pricing, the 11-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 71,900 for the WiFi model and Rs 85,900 for the cellular version. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at Rs 89,900 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 1,03,900 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
