We know that iPhone leaks have started very early this year. The reports regarding iPhone 11 have started to leak since January of this year. However, Apple will release the iPhone 11 series in September this year. We have seen reports suggesting iPhone 11 having a triple rear camera setup. This setup will be similar to Huawei Mate 20 Pro’s setup. Also, some reports also suggest that iPhone 11 may finally drop the lightning port. Instead, the latest iPhones will have a USB Type-C port.

Now, we have one more report regarding the adoption of USB Type-C support for iPhone 11. This report is also trusted because of the origin of this report. The latest report has been published in the Japanese blog Macokatara. And it is known that the Japanese blog has a good reputation when it comes to Apple leaks. Therefore, it should be considered a credible source.

As far as the report by Macokatara is concerned, they say that the iPhone 11 might adopt the USB Type-C bandwagon. Also, we will finally get an 18W charger out-of-the-box inside the iPhone 11. Although, Macokatara says that a USB Type-C to Lightning port will also be bundled inside the box. This suggests that the iPhone 11 will still have a Lightning port.

As far as 18W charging is concerned, iPhone X has been tested to charge from 1% to 79% in one hour with this fast charger. However, the current 5W charger from Apple charges the iPhones extremely slowly.

Apart from that, Macokatara reiterates that the iPhone 11 series will have reverse wireless charging. This means that you can charge your wireless accessories like AirPods by keeping them on the back of your iPhone. Also, iPhone 11 will be able to reverse charge other devices wirelessly as well. But we know that charging devices via reverse wireless charging is too slow to be even considered an option.
