Lava added one more cheap device to the market with the A52 model that priced Rs. 3,599. The domestic smartphone maker is now targeting low-level users in India by making it cheaper with some average specs. The entry level device has some entry level features that barely manages to fulfill the needs. But, when compared to the price, it is almost explainable. The device will be available across the country via all leading stores. As per the reports, Lava will be producing a huge number of pieces of the A52.
Talking about the specs, there is a 4-inch 800×480 pixels WVGA IPS display with 233ppi pixel density. The display looks like an average or entry level one without that much impressive features. At the heart of the device, there is a dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz that sounds pretty impressive for the price. A 512MB RAM will power the Lava A52, which can fulfill low-level needs like basic video streaming ad entry level gaming. However, we cannot expect a smoother performance on the device because of the lesser amount of RAM available. But may suitable for the entry level users.
It also comes with a 4GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 32GB via micro SD card. There is a 2.0MP shooter on the back with VGA quality. LED flash is also there to strengthen images in low lighting conditions. There is also a VGA front-facing shooter to power selfies. The camera specs are not looking impressive. But again compared to the price it is explainable. In connectivity section, there are the features like 2G, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB 2.0 port, etc… It’s good to see the 3G technology in such an entry level smartphone.
Lava A52 is running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS that creates doubt in the stability of the device. As Android itself consumes a huge percentage of the total device resources, it is very doubtful the performance of other apps and functions on Lava A52. There is a very low 1200mAh battery is there to power the whole device. As there is no that much advanced hardware, it may barely manage to complete the whole day of usage.

The device is to reach all offline stores soon and will be available from the next month itself. As it is an affordable device with some good features when compared to the price, the sales will be something special. So, let’s wait and watch.
