LeEco Le Max 3 Rumor Roundup: Features, Specifications, Release Date and Price

LeEco Le Max 3

If rumors are to be believed, LeEco is gearing up to launch a smartphone with the model Le X850. We have been hearing rumors about the launch of a new handset by LeEco. However, the fresh images leaked out on the web reveals the design of the phone all probable angles with the Le Max 3 moniker.

Upon inspection of the Le X850 images, we can conclude that the photos closely resemble with that of the TENAA listing. The phone will be designed in metal unibody with USB Type-C port on the bottom adjacent to two external speakers.

If you look at the top of the display, you will see an earpiece that separates two round-shaped sensors. While one hole will be reserved for the selfie camera, we don’t have any confirmation about another sensor hole.

As in LeEco Le 2, the display will look narrow on both left and right sides without a conventional headphone port. The highlight of the phone will be the addition of a dual rear camera enclosed in a circular shaped housing.

Moreover, you can also spot dual-LED flash paired with a fingerprint sensor.

Among the leaked image, we can also spot a screenshot of the About Phone section, which clearly reveals the model number of the phone as Le X850 along with the name of the phone as Le Max 3.

While the antennae bands are located at the top and bottom edges, you will find volume rockers and power button on the right side.

The left side doesn’t feature any controls except the SIM tray. If you observe the design, it looks like a traditional LeEco phone.

On the specifications front, the Le Max 3 will feature a 5.7-inch QHD IPS display, Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB UFS 2.0 internal storage variants, 13MP dual rear camera, 16MP front-facing snapper loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. However, we expect the addition of Android 7.0 Nougat and a 4000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Based on the available information, the Le max 3 will launch on April 11 in China starting at CNY 1799. If LeEco ships the phone with Android Nougat, it will be a big boost for the company to boost the sales. The overall revenue of LeEco has slumped drastically with the company laying off 80 percent of employees in India.
