Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus Launched at MWC

Lenovo launched two of the Vibe devices namely Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 plus at the MWC event. Further expanding the devices list, two flagships arrived the market from the MWC stage. Vibe devices were mostly expected for the affordability as the company recently announced. So, they launched it for a price tag of $129 for the Vibe K5 and $149 for the plus version.When comparing with the specs, Lenovo provided a quite decent ratio between the price and specs. Both devices are powered by the 4G LTE connectivity feature with the support of the dual sim cards.

Looking at the specs, there is a 5-inch 1280×720 pixels HD IPS display with 294ppi on the Vibe K5 while the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has a 5 -inch 1080×1920 pixels full-HD IPS display with a pixel density of 441ppi. In addition, the Plus version has a protective layer of the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 providing a tougher build. Both of them features a 13.0MP shooter on the back and a 5.0MP one on the front. It also incorporates an LED flash alongside the basic enhancements and adjustments on the camera.

Under the hood, K5 has a 64-bit Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor that clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU. It has a 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM that can be expanded up to 32GB. On the other hand, the Vibe K5 Plus packs a Snapdragon 616 64-bit Octa-core processor that clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU. The RAM and ROM capacities are same as the Vibe.

The connectivity features lead by the 4G LTE connectivity on both the devices. All basic features including, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB 2.0, etc… also incorporated on both devices. A 2750mAh battery fuels both the devices that can hold it for a long time. In-built qualities of both devices sounds good as per the specs sheet. Both of them features almost similar specs except in CPU and Display.

There are three color variants of both devices available namely Silver, Champagne Gold, and Graphite Grey. The designs looks very similar in both devices. Lenovo accepted curvy neat sides looks pretty much simple but catchy as an iPhone. The golden color variant was a unique feature introduced with the devices, and it looks cool in that. All in all, Lenovo stepped into the affordable devices market with the launch of the Lenovo Vibe K5 and K5 Plus. So, one more flagship added to the competitors list on the market.
