Meizu, as we reported earlier, is all set to launch the latest flagship smartphone from the company in the coming weeks. This flagship smartphone will be named as the Meizu 16 series. Also, you must be aware that the Meizu 15 series was already launched earlier this year but it was not a major upgrade from last year’s flagships. Now, we have some exciting news to share with the Meizu fans in India as well. The company is soon going to launch a budget smartphone named as the Meizu M6T in India.
Also, the company is reportedly in talks with Flipkart to launch the smartphone in India as a Flipkart Exclusive. However, it is also reported that the smartphone will later be available on Reliance Jio as well as some exciting offers. If you are unaware, the Meizu M6T has already been launched in China in the month of May. The Meizu M6T has a 5.7-inch HD+ display with screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Among the internals is an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. Also, the smartphone comes with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. However, the base variant comes in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Both the variants come with a microSD slot which supports 128GB of expansion.
Coming to the cameras, there is a dual camera on the back. Frankly speaking, the dual camera setup seemly fairly similar to the OnePlus 6 in terms of looks. However, the camera setup on this smartphone is totally different in specs with a 13MP + 2MP camera. Along with that is an 8MP camera on the front which is capable of selfies as well as videos. Coming to the price, the smartphone is expected to start at around Rs. 8000 in India which is similar to its price in Chinese markets.
