Mircosoft has just made an announcement regarding their Surface lineup in India. The company has released their latest laptops for the Indian consumers. These laptops include the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 and the Surface Laptop 2. We already know that Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 have been released in the US last year. But the company has decided to finally bring them to the Indian shores. As for the availability, Microsoft’s latest Surface laptops will be available in India starting January 28th across offline as well as online channels.
Talking about the Surface Pro 6, it does not have major changes than the Surface Pro 5. Surface Pro 6 still has the same 2-in-1 build as its predecessor. However, there has been a big change in the internals on Surface Pro 6. Microsoft has powered these laptops with the latest Intel 8th generation chips. The company claims that these chips are 67% more powerful than the earlier chips. Apart from that, we get an improved cooling system on this laptop too.
Surface Pro 6 has a 12.3-inch display at a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels. The device has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD. Also, the Surface Pro 6 comes with an 8MP back camera and a 5MP front camera. As for the Surface Laptop 2, it has a slightly bigger 13.5-inch touchscreen which has a resolution of 2256 x 1504. Microsoft promises 14.5 hours of battery life from the Surface Laptop 2. Surface Laptop 2 from Microsoft comes with an aluminium build and Alcantara coating on the inside. It also comes equipped with Windows Hello Sensors.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 in India starts at Rs. 83,999. On the other hand, Surface Laptop 2 is available for a starting price of 91,999. The prices of both the Laptops go all the way up to Rs. 176,999 and Rs. 2,03,999 for their maxed-out variants respectively. Both of these Laptops come with maxed-out variants having Intel Core i7 SoC, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.
