Motorola has just announced a new smartphone for the US market. However, this smartphone is not new for users around the world. This is because Motorola has already launched the smartphone in India and other markets. The smartphone we are talking about is the Motorola One. In India, Motorola launched this handset named as the Motorola One Power. The Motorola One comes on top of Android One programme by Google which got a boost two years back with the launch of Xiaomi Mi A1. Since then, Android One smartphones have been on the rise compared to regular smartphones.

One more reason for this is because top smartphone manufacturers are now bringing their flagships in the Android One programme. LG recently announced a slimmed down version of the LG G7 in this lineup too. Now, the Motorola One launched in the US comes with a 2-year software update guarantee. The smartphone has been launched for a price of available for $399.99 and is available exclusively from Best Buy. Moreover, it is already on pre-order for the Black colour variant and the smartphone will be launched on 11th of November.

Motorola One a.k.a Motorola One Power in India is a great device for the mid-range segment. The smartphone is equipped with a 3000 mAh non-removable battery which promises a day-long battery life with ease. However, the other specifications are impressive as well. The Motorola One’s display is a 5.9-inch panel with a notch at the top which is Motorola’s first notched smartphone in the US. This panel has a pixel density ratio of 287 ppi with a resolution of  720 x 1520 pixels.

The smartphone is also powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor and comes with 4GB of RAM. The storage on the Motorola One is limited to 64GB but there is a microSD card expansion which increases the storage even more. The smartphone has a dual camera setup on the back and a selfie camera on the front and is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo.
