Motorola, as we all know, has been a big name in the mobile industry. Back in the days, Motorola was the first company to release a mobile, let alone a smartphone. Many Motorola fans will remember an iconic name from the brand which is “Motorola Razr”. Razr phone from Motorola was very popular once upon a time as it had a folding mechanism. On the top was a screen and the bottom had a keypad for the phone.

We are now getting reports about a comeback of the Motorola Razr phone by the company. According to reports, Motorola Razr will be launched once again as a smartphone. Keeping its old characteristics, Motorola Razr will be a foldable smartphone. This means we can get the old nostalgic feeling while seeing the latest Razr phone too. However, the reports also suggest that the Motorola Razr will have a whopping price tag which is even more than the iPhone Xs Max. The Motorola Razr phone is reported to launch at $1500.

Wall Street Journal is also reporting that the Motorola Razr smartphone may launch as soon as February 2019. WSJ also reports that the smartphone will be a Verizon-exclusive in the US. Now, everything regarding the Motorola Razr is unknown. The design of the smartphone has also not been finalized and it is reportedly in the testing phase currently.

As for the specifications as well, nothing is quite clear as of now. This includes the screen size, processor, RAM, storage and other details regarding the smartphone. What we do know however is the pricing and it is expected to be a costly smartphone. The price is mostly because of it being a foldable one which is still a new and expensive technology. Reportedly, Samsung is also launching a foldable smartphone named as the Galaxy X and the company has also shown the prototype of this phone to the world.
