Nokia 8.1 on Geekbench: Is no longer a top of the range, but you’ll like it too

Nokia 8.1 on Geekbench

In this 2018, Nokia has so far preserved the shot in the barrel to shoot in the segment of top-range smartphones, excluding the beautiful Nokia 8 Sirocco, in fact belonging to the 2017 generation. It will not be Nokia 8.1 but to fill this gap, despite on its direct predecessor was the flagship device of the Finnish brand last year. Nevertheless, this new smartphone promises very well.

And we know this thanks to his transit on Geekbench, which left important traces on his account. We are talking about Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, the best SoC for the mid-high band currently available, supported by 4 GB of RAM (but it is said that there will be no other memory cuts).

To season everything will think Android 9.0 Pie, already officially landed on Nokia 7 Plus. Nokia 8.1 promises to be a very interesting smartphone, able to give a hard time to anyone in the mid-high range. Of course, we still need to know vital details such as the design and the price list, but for now, have managed to get our attention.

According to the latest rumors, HMD Global would have decided on a change of program. The recently presented Nokia X7 would, in fact, have had to arrive on the international market with the name of Nokia 7.1, but in the end, it seems that the chosen name will be precisely Nokia 8.1.

In fact, the details revealed by Geekbench match the official Nokia X7, so the speech would spin. We’ll see in the coming weeks if it really will be so.
