OnePlus 6T, the latest flagship from OnePlus, is already available in the market. Now, we had reported that OnePlus is going to launch a new variant of the OnePlus 6T. This is in addition to the Thunder Purple edition which has already been launched. The latest edition of the OnePlus 6T is already revealed to be in partnership with McLaren F1. This new variant of OnePlus 6T will be called as the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.
Now, we haven’t heard much about the latest edition of OnePlus 6T. But, there has not been any smartphone that has not been leaked before release. And same is the case with OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. There are credible leaks about the device which suggest the internals of this latest variant. According to the leak from MySmartPrice, it is revealed that the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will have 10GB of RAM. Not only that, the device will also have 256GB of internal storage onboard.
It is also understood that the device is going to be the costliest OnePlus device yet. Also, OnePlus would be hoping that the McLaren F1 fans around the world will be buying this special edition in numbers. Now, it is already known that the company will launch this device on the 11th of December in India. However, the launch event of this device is to take place at the McLaren Headquarters in Woking.
Furthermore, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is not believed to have any design changes from the original OnePlus 6T. This means that we will see the glass-back construction as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the device will also still have Snapdragon 845 processor and run on Android 9.0 Pie based on OxygenOS 9. There is no pricing detail for this device as of now so you need to wait for the official launch event scheduled on December 11.
