OnePlus 7 series will launch on May 14, according to leaks

We have been seeing the OnePlus 7 being leaked day in and day out. This is also expected as OnePlus 7 is the highly anticipated smartphone right now. However, we are getting a whole series of devices this year which is called the OnePlus 7 series. This will be a change from the tradition of OnePlus to release a smartphone every 6 months. However, we are not sure if the company will still release the OnePlus 7T later this year.

Nonetheless, we are getting reports about the OnePlus 7 series containing OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro. Obviously, the OnePlus 7 Pro will be better in some areas than the OnePlus 7. Also, it is most likely going to be priced higher than the OnePlus 7. From reports, OnePlus 7 Pro will have a triple camera setup and some other improvements. While the OnePlus 7 will retain its dual camera setup.

Now, the thing that was unknown about the OnePlus 7 series has also leaked. This is the launch date of OnePlus 7 worldwide. If the popular leaker Ishan Agarwal is to be believed, the OnePlus 7 series is coming on May 14, 2019. This means we have less than a month ahead of us before the OnePlus 7 gets launched. Ishan claims that his information is “confirm(ed)” as per his sources.

This also shows us that OnePlus is sticking to its traditional launch timeline of its first flagship launch in first half of the year. Last year, OnePlus 6 was also launched in the month of May. Talking about the OnePlus 7 Pro, we might also see it come with 5G support this time around. This will mean that the OnePlus 7 Pro will become first 5G smartphone to launch publicly. Earlier, Samsung and Huawei have both announced their 5G phones but have not launched them yet. As we already know, OnePlus already showed its prototype 5G phone at the MWC earlier this year.
