It is also worth noting that the performance, camera, display and everything else on the OnePlus 8 Pro is better than the OnePlus 8 while the Pro model is also priced higher.
Therefore, we have the option to either spend more and get a much better phone or save some money and still get a phone which is excellent for the price.
However, even OnePlus did not realize that they have an excellent trick up their sleeves when it comes to their camera setup on the OnePlus 8 Pro. Because the internet users have found a new trick on the OnePlus 8 Pro which has an additional colour filter camera.
Now, you would know that monochrome photos are possible with this camera. But the part that no one knew is that the camera could look inside plastic objects as well which has been revealed by a lot of OnePlus 8 Pro users right now.
There is also a worrying part of this trick which is that it is possible to see inside some clothes with this camera as long as they are plastic. So this can quickly become a privacy nightmare and an issue as well.
A possible explanation of this is that OnePlus 8 Pro’s camera is “not filtering IR light as there is no IR cutoff filter which, in turn, allows you to see through the plastic”. This is why we have not seen such a trick on other colour filter cameras before this device.
So we will have to understand how OnePlus controls its usage and limits people not to see through people’s clothes in the future.
