OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 6T which is their T version of the flagship smartphone. This launch happened just a week ago which took place twice in 2 days. First was the global launch on October 29 in New York whereas the Indian launch happened on October 30 in New Delhi.
At launch, OnePlus announced the Mirror Black and Midnight Black color variants only. However, we were already hearing rumors about the possible third color variant of OnePlus 6T.
Now, that third color variant of OnePlus 6T has been made official. Yes, the leaks were accurate to the point where the name of the variant is also the same. The latest color variant of the OnePlus 6T is the Thunder Purple color variant. As expected, it is a gradient style colored variant of the device where the top portion is on the dark side and the below portion is purple.
Interestingly, the launch of OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple color variant happened in an event held in China. Therefore, it remains to be seen when OnePlus launches this particular variant in India and other parts of the world.
Also, it should be noted that the OnePlus 6T is already being sold in the Mirror Black and Midnight Black variants right now. Also, the pricing of this latest variant is kept same by OnePlus. In China, OnePlus 6T’s Thunder Purple variant starts at CNY 3399 for the base variant 6GB/128GB and CNY 3599 for the 8GB/128GB variant and CNY 3999 for the 8GB/256GB variant.
Now, the pricing kept by OnePlus for the OnePlus 6T in China is lower than the Indian and International pricing. Apart from that, OnePlus is known for launching limited edition variants in limited numbers as well as in particular storage options only. Therefore, we will not be surprised if the OnePlus 6T is launched globally in just the 8GB variants.
