OnePlus has just announced a new variant of their latest flagship, the OnePlus 6T. This latest edition of the OnePlus 6T is the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. The announcement of this edition has been done by OnePlus but the launch will take place next month. This edition will be in collaboration with the famous British Autosport Brand, McLaren. In particular, the OnePlus 6T will be launched with McLaren F1 which is one of Formula 1 teams.
Now, OnePlus’ launch poster of this special edition reads “Salute to Speed” so we should expect something related to Speed in this device. We already know that the OnePlus 6T is touted to be the fastest Android smartphone available at the moment. Apart from that, the fast charging speeds of the OnePlus 6T are also well-acclaimed. Now, it is to be noted that the McLaren brand operates in Formula 1 with an orange livery. This suggests that we might see an orange-coloured OnePlus 6T on December 12. However, a red-coloured OnePlus 6T is much more likely.
Also, it is reported that this edition of the OnePlus 6T might be the costliest OnePlus device yet. Meaning that the price of the current top-end variant of the OnePlus 6T being sold for Rs. 45,999 could also be beaten. We also expect to see this edition being launched in the 8GB RAM variant only. This was the case with OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple edition as well.

Today we unveil a true testament to innovation, a salute to speed,” says the press note released by OnePlus CEO and Founder, Pete Lau. Earlier, we saw the OnePlus 6 Avengers Edition being the last special edition model, launched in collaboration with Marvel Studios.
