Oppo launches its new smartphone Oppo A15S on February 5, 2021. It is a variant of Oppo A15, which is a budget friendly device . This new smartphone named Oppo A15S, more storage compared to the A15.

Initially, Oppo was targeting the offline retail stores. Now they are focusing both the retail and online store.

The new Oppo A15S is a budget smartphone, made especially for online buyers, but also available to buy in local retail stores. This smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. As it is a budget smartphone, this one cost Rs.12,490.

Oppo A15S has a 6.52 inch display with water drop screen and has a 3D curved body. The body design is made of glass front, plastic back and plastic frame. It has an AI triple camera setup, though the camera has only a 13MP wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth lenses.

The screen resolution of Oppo A15S Is 720 x 1600 pixels and it has 83 per cent screen to body ratio. It runs on MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, PowerVR GE8320 and Android 10 (ColorOS 7.2).

This recently launched smartphone has 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also has microSD card slot. The higher storage is the selling point. Oppo also pushing it with the “big storage” tag. It will definitely attracts the buyers looking for smartphone under Rs.13,000.

It has a 4230mAh battery, which is decent. The battery is supported with a 10W charger.

The ColorOS 7.2 supports some interesting features such as system-wide dark mode, Icon Pull-Down Gesture feature and 3-finger Scrolling Screenshot on the smartphone.

It is available in two different color variants – Fancy White and Dynamic Black.

Some people claims A15 series is a direct rival to Redmi 9, the most selling smartphone series right now in India. Oppo trying their best with A15S in order to compete with the Redmi series.
