Oppo F3 Plus Features, Specifications, Price and Release Date

Oppo F3 Plus

OPPO F3 Plus with dual selfie camera sensor and 4000mAh battery has been launched at an event held in New Delhi on March 23 in Gold and Black color variants. Over the last few years, OPPO has been aggressively focussing on camera-centric smartphones with special focus to selfies. Moreover, the company has renamed the handsets to OPPO Camera Phone.

The main attraction of the newly launched OPPO F3 Plus is the addition of a dual front-facing camera. In the past, we have seen smartphones with dual camera sensors. In the case of Oppo F3 Plus, the company has embedded two sensors on the front. While the first sensor is capable of capturing bright selfies, the second sensor is mainly oriented for group selfies.

Designed with metal body coupled with an 80.6 percent Screen-to-Body ratio, the Oppo F3 Plus measures 7.35mm in thickness. Like in the previous counterpart, the fingerprint sensor is integrated into the physical home button. During the launch event, the company disclosed that the sensor is equipped with a Hydrophobic membrane, which is capable of unlocking the device even using wet fingers.

OPPO F3 Plus features a 6-inch display

On the specifications front, the OPPO F3 Plus features a 6-inch (480PPI) FHD 2.5D curved glass Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display, Snapdragon 653 processor, Adreno 510 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage that can be expandable up to 256GB.

OPPO F3 Plus offers dual front camera

The rear camera offers a 16MP Sony IMX398 6P lens sensor with support for dual-tone LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, dual-focus PDAF including OIS. However, the front camera includes 16MP sensor paired with a 76.4-degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. On the top of the 16MP sensor, the handset also provides an additional 8MP sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens exclusively designed for group selfies.

OPPO F3 Plus reloaded with 4000mAh battery

With a thickness of 7.35mm, the OPPO F3 Plus is powered by a 4000mAh battery with support for VOOC Flash Charging technology. Even though Google released Android Nougat, the phone is pre-loaded with ColorOS v3.0 on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The big drawback of OPPO F3 Plus is the cost of the device. You will have to pay Rs. 30990 if you would need to grab the smartphone. The OPPO F3 Plus will be available via e-commerce stores such as Flipkart and also via offline retail stores.

Flipkart has already started pre-orders for the phone starting 2 PM on March 23. As part of the launch offer, Flipkart is offering Selfie Stick and Photo Frame along with the product package.
