We have known that Oppo is looking to have a big market share in the Indian markets. For this reason, the company has adopted an aggressive advertisement strategy where the brand has tied up with many popular personalities and organizations in India.

Recently, we saw that the Cricket World Cup 2019 was concluded and Oppo was the main sponsor of this event. This shows that Oppo is looking to have a global reach as well. At the same time, Oppo also sponsored the Indian Cricket Team for a year which proved to be beneficial.

Oppo also launched a new sub-brand named Reno very recently. The first smartphones from Oppo Reno lineup were also launched. This included a smartphone named Oppo Reno 10x Zoom. As the name suggests, this smartphone provides you with the ability to zoom 10x. Apart from that, you can even zoom 60x on this smartphone but it is via software.

However, the one thing that people are talking about regarding Oppo Reno is its design. We have seen that a unique shark-fin design has been adopted by Oppo for this lineup. While we don’t know how long this design will stay, it is very unique at the moment. This shark-fin design is used for Oppo’s front camera setup. This also eliminates the need for a notch or punch-hole.

Now, we have come to know that Oppo is about to release a new Reno branded smartphone. The interesting part about this news is that the smartphone will launch first in India. After that, Oppo will reveal the smartphone for its global audience.

This shows that Oppo sees India as a significant market for themselves. While no details about the smartphone are known, Oppo is expected to announce the smartphone by this month itself. In addition, Oppo is expected to launch half a dozen new smartphones by Diwali in India.
