Fortnite Surpasses $100M Revenue Figure in just 90 days on iOS

We have all known that extents to which someone can go to purchase if he so dearly wants it. Same is the case with Gamers who are ready to shell out their entire monthly or yearly income just to buy a game or collectible. Exactly the same thing is happening in case of the popular game, Fortnite, on Amazon. In this case, people are ready to buy the Physical copy of Fortnite for as high as $1000 or Rs. 65000 in INR. These physical copies are extremely hard to find which is one of the reasons for this huge steep in price.

One of the reasons for the scarcity of physical copies is because the company is not able to cope up with the demand for the game, especially the physical one. We know that digital copies are easy to get as you can buy, set up and play the game for a duration of 5 minutes.

However, some people around the world have a habit of gathering collectibles as memorabilia. For this reason, some sellers on Amazon, eBay and other stores are asking for a huge some and people are actually buying them as well. On eBay, some sellers are asking for $450 for a physical copy and they are sold in numbers.

On the other hand, Amazon sellers have all the variety in terms of the condition of the copy. For example, the New physical copies are being sold for as high as $999, the ‘like new’ copies go for about $359 whereas ‘acceptable’ copies are sold for $195 which essentially means used for a long time.

The reason for this is because the company has not restocked the physical copies of Fortnite in several months. Thus, the people who got it earlier have been reselling this game’s physical copy at a premium. Let alone the fact that they have played the game already and may have also made a copy of the game.
