Poco F1 get latest update MIUI 10.2.3.0 along with Feb 2019 security patch

Good news for Poco F1 users who are eagerly waiting for latest MIUI 10.2.3.0 stable update for their devices. Xiaomi launched its Poco F1 smartphone last year, running Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and a new MIUI for Poco custom interface.

In the past, we have seen Poco F1 received MIUI 10 update which is based on Android Oreo. Some users in Poco Forum are reported that the device has started receiving MIUI 10.2.3.0.PEJMIXM update which is around 560MB in size. The update is based on Android Pie and also brings the February security patch to the device.

Another update we got from the C Manmohan, Global Head of POCO, saying the smartphone will receive another MIUI Global stable update in March with 4K 60 FPS support to the device.

Also, Poco F1 or Pocophone F1 has created a stir in the industry. It is because the smartphone offers specifications similar to OnePlus 6 at almost half its price. This is the same as OnePlus when they launched the OnePlus One. The OnePlus One offered flagship specifications at budget too. Therefore, there are many similarities between Poco and OnePlus.

Another thing of concern is software updates for Poco F1 as Xiaomi’s MIUI is not very popular in the software update department. Poco has now announced, however, that Poco F1 will get MIUI 10.2.3.0 along with the latest Feb security patches.

Xiaomi’s Poco F1 shocking entire tech world from the beginning of its launch. From the reports of IT media, Poco F1 assembled 68,000 sales. It is all because of its high-end configurations and affordable price which made this sudden rise in sales. If you are looking for a device that looks like a flagship product but has a very low price, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is a difficult option to overcome. The Pocophone series diversifies the Xiaomi brand and is a serious competitor for other smartphones which are in same price-tags.
