PS5 Rumors: Presentation in 2019
After the back and forth of the last few months, rumors about the release date of the PlayStation 5 can hardly be taken seriously, but this is a Reddit user responsible, who announced Sony’s rejection of the games fair E3 before the official announcement. This one Info could be correct. According to RuthenicCookie, Sony is planning a major PS5 presentation in December 2019 at the PSX event. A small teaser should already exist in mid-2019.
Ryzen 8 core processor in PlayStation 5
RuthenicCookie, which could be a Sony insider, knows more details about the PS5. Accordingly, Sony lets the processor of the next-gen console again manufactured by AMD: In the PlayStation 5, a Ryzen processor with 8 cores to work. For clock frequency and other technical details, there is no information. But according to RuthenicCookie, the PS5 is a “monster” that can calculate games in native 4K resolution with 60 frames per second.
Game lineup of PS5
Exclusive titles are not yet known. The PS5’s starting games lineup includes The Last of Us 2, Death Stranding, Knack III, and probably Ghost of Tsushima, which will at least partly run on PS4. As a retail price, Sony allegedly aims $ 500, which would be $ 100 above the introductory price of the PS4. Should be the PS5 backward compatible, but Sony may rely on a loyal fan base and a huge range of recommended exclusive titles. Given the rumored strong hardware, the price sounds realistic.
New PSVR II
According to the insider, the manufacturer not only works on the PS5 but also on a new PSVR. The PSVR II will probably get a new Move controller and possibly matching VR gloves. The use of an external box should not be necessary for the next model. Again, details about the hardware are missing. The development remains exciting.
