Razor phones has made a new standard for gaming smartphones. Like many flagship phones, it has high-end specs, but it actually stands with 120 Hz display. Taking advantage of its roots as a PC-centric company, Razer knows that the game is as good as the screen when user play them. We are starting to hear the first rumors on the Razer phone 2, as well as confirming that the phone is actually on the road and you will find it below.
According to Razor Vice Chairman Chen Xiaoping, Razor phone 2 can be launched in China before the end of 2018. And officially announced to release it on October 10. However, it was not more specific than the global-launch plans. Xiaoping clarified that the smartphone will receive the latest single-chip Qualcomm system. Perhaps, it is a question of Snapdragon 855 , which will appear this year.
The novelty is attributed to support 5G smartphone networks and a battery with bigger capacity than its predecessor. Other specifications are not specified, but certainly it is worth waiting for at least 8 GB of RAM, a screen at 120 Hz and a high-end cooling system. Note that the current version is based on last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and received a battery capacity of 4000 mAh.
In general, the fashion for gaming smartphones is clearly expanding, despite the skeptical attitude of many gamers. And given that Razer was the first company to release such a device, it is logical to expect a continuation.
However, we expect that Razor phone 2 will be a larger version than other flagships. It can spend more than the original Razor phone, which currently costs $ 699.
