If we look at the crazy-competitive Indian market at the moment, there are two Chinese brands that stand out of the rest. These are Xiaomi and Realme which are both known for launching smartphones after the other in different price segments. The latest one from Realme is the Realme X2 which is its successor to the Realme XT.
It has barely been a year since Realme started operations in India and most of its smartphones have already got at least one or two successors which tell you how quickly Realme launches its smartphones. As far as the Realme X2 is concerned, it is also the budget version of Realme X2 Pro which competes with flagships such as OnePlus 7T, Asus ROG Phone 2 and others.
Coming back to the Realme X2, the smartphone is launched with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display along with a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. On the back, there are four cameras where we get a 64MP primary sensor. The Realme X2 gets its processing power from a Snapdragon 730G chipset which is bundled with up to 8GB RAM.
You also get 4GB and 6GB RAM options on the device along with a maximum of 128GB storage. Regarding the camera on Realme X2, we have the primary 64MP sensor while the other three cameras sensors are an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. Another interesting factor about the Realme X2 is its front-facing camera.
The selfie camera on Realme X2 is upgraded to a 32MP sensor from the 16MP camera present on Realme XT. Realme X2 runs on Color OS 6.1 right now but the Color OS 7 update is just around the corner. The battery on Realme X2 is a 4000 mAh one but you do get VOOC 4.0 30W fast-charging which gives you 0% to 67% charge in under 30 minutes as per company’s claims.
