Realme has officially made the announcement of its latest Realme X2 smartphone in Chinese markets. Now, this smartphone is also coming to India but in December and with a different name of Realme XT 730G. From the Indian name, you can make the assumption that it will have Snapdragon 730G inside it and that is absolutely correct. Realme X2 launched in China does have Snapdragon 730G along with a 64MP primary camera. On top of that, Realme X2 also has an in-display fingerprint sensor as well as quad rear camera setup.

Coming to the specifications, you get a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display on the smartphone and it comes with a 91.9% screen-to-body ratio. Apart from that, you get a Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. As mentioned earlier, you get the Snapdragon 730G chip accompanied by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone comes out of the box with Android 9.0 Pie-based ColorOS 6.

As for the camera setup on this phone, Realme X2 has a primary 64MP camera, the secondary cameras are an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. As for the front, you get a 32MP selfie camera which sits inside the device’s waterdrop notch. Sadly, the Realme X2 comes with a notch and not a pop-up camera or in-display camera. Apart from that, you get a 4000 mAh non-removable battery on the smartphone which also supports VOOC fast charging at 30W.

There is also a base variant of the Realme X2 which comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Coming to the price, Realme X2 starts at just 1599 Yuan in China which is equivalent to US$ 224 or approximately Rs. 16,000 for the base variant. As for the Realme X2 with 8GB RAM, the device is available in China at 1899 yuan or US$ 266 or Rs. 19,000.
