Samsung has been in the news recently for their innovation in display technology. Last month, the company announced four new type of smartphone displays. This is part of the Samsung Display department which also outsources displays to other OEMs too. Now, this means that Samsung, as well as other OEMs, will use this displays on their smartphone next year. However, Samsung should obviously be the first to use their display on their latest smartphone.

Samsung has done the same as the company has announced the launch of their latest smartphone. This smartphone becomes the first ever smartphone to come with a camera hole in its display. This display is also the Infinity-O display from Samsung. This latest smartphone is the Galaxy A series smartphone from the company. The smartphone is named as the Samsung Galaxy A8s, successor to the Galaxy A8+. Now that the launch has been confirmed for the Galaxy A8s, we have some more details about the handset too

As per the leaks, the Galaxy A8s will have a single camera on the front which is fitted into the display hole. For the display, the Galaxy A8s will have a 6.3-inch display which has a Full HD+ resolution having 2340 x 1080 pixels. Apart from that, the display will have an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. This display is also said to have a 2.5D glass and the latest Gorilla Glass protection

On the camera side of things, the Galaxy A8s will have a triple camera on the rear and a single camera on the front. Apart from that, the smartphone is expected to have Snapdragon 710 processor inside it. Now, the launch date of Galaxy A8s has also been announced by Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy A8s will be launched on the 10th of December. As of now, there are no details regarding the price of Galaxy A8s so we will have to wait until December 10 for the official pricing of this device.
