Samsung Electronics will renew its line of premium cell phones next year and is preparing to launch its first smartphone with 5G capabilities, a cheaper mainstream model and a folding screen device to challenge Apple and stay ahead of its Chinese rivals, people said.
So much of the subject. The Suwon-based company, South Korea, is negotiating with Verizon Communications to launch Samsung Galaxy S10 in the United States with a fifth-generation mobile phone chipset.

Samsung placed a fingerprint sensor under the screen of its S10, which overcame years of complications for the mass production of such devices, the sources said. The world’s largest mobile phone maker will release three versions of its flagship model, including one more accessible to attract as many consumers as possible, they added.
Three New Models
The standard Samsung Galaxy S10, codenamed “Beyond” (beyond), comes with a curved OLED display on both sides, round corners and almost no crimping at the top and bottom ends, people said. It will have approximately the same size as the current S9 model, 5.8 inches.
The S10 has triple cameras in the back and a front camera visible and placed under the screen, they added. Samsung also plans to launch a larger “Plus” version next year.
The cheaper version of the S10 comes without the double curve “Edge” screen, a trademark of all Samsung premium phones since the launch of the Galaxy Note Edge in 2014 and could also come without the fingerprint sensor under the screen depending on costs.
Samsung is also testing with an S10 prototype without a headphone jack, which indicates that it could imitate Apple and make its devices completely wireless. The Samsung Galaxy S10 will come with Google’s Android Pie operating system pre-installed.
