Samsung is one of those companies which likes to keep its customer base happy. We know that Samsung has pledged to not remove the headphone jack. Even when companies such as Apple and Huawei have already removed the 3.5-mm jacks from their phones for a couple of years. We recently saw that the Galaxy S10 series from Samsung came with the headphone jack. However, the company is also criticized for not innovating much and all their phones feel like iterative devices.

Now, Samsung might do something that will not go down well with its loyal consumer base. A report from Android Police claims that Samsung might remove the headphone jack from their Galaxy Note 10. This means you will either have to use wireless headphones and earphones. Or you have to use a 3.5mm to USB Type-C dongle to use your wired headphones on the Galaxy Note 10.

Apart from the headphone jack, Samsung will also make a massive change. The same report claims that Galaxy Note 10 is also likely to remove physical buttons. We will see capacitive touch buttons on the Galaxy Note 10 this time around. The physical buttons such s Power, Volume keys as well as Bixby button will be removed. The capacitive touch buttons will be pressure-sensitive same as the HTC U12+ from a few years back.

If the reports are true, we will have some major changes on the Galaxy Note 10. On the design front, Samsung is also expected to change its camera placement from horizontal to a vertical one same as Huawei and Apple. Also, Galaxy Note 10 will come in multiple variants for the first time with a smaller display variant as well as a larger one. In all likeliness, Samsung will announce its Galaxy Note 10 lineup in the month of August this year as per traditional timeline.
