Samsung has gone up a notch in the industry when it comes to leaking a smartphone of its own. We have seen companies like OnePlus and Google adopting a strategy where they would reveal certain features of their upcoming phones.

Now, we have also seen some companies, without naming names, “leak” some aspects of their phones without officially announcing anything. Talking about Samsung though, they have just released their advertisement for the Galaxy Z Flip which will be a foldable device. Now, there is nothing wrong in releasing an ad and that too at Oscars event.

The problem is that the phone has not been launched yet. This means that Samsung has now started a new trend of officially revealing the phone with its features even without a launch event.

Now, we know that this can work in two ways where you can either get excited or it can also kill the buzz. Having said that, we know that Samsung is not too far off from launching the phone officially too. Because the company already revealed a January 11 launch event where the Galaxy S20 series and the Galaxy Z Flip will be launched.

As for the advertisement itself, we have nothing more to see other than what we already knew. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will have a tiny display on the outside which can let you take calls which also looks practical in design. On the inside, we have a folding display with a hole-punch camera and there will be dual primary cameras.

The smartphone is targeted towards the woman from the looks of it due to the colour and the ad. However, we will have to wait for the official announcement to understand the target audience. Also, it makes sense to market a flip phone towards women since they prefer smaller devices.
