Game of Thrones, which is a massively popular TV series, is finally coming to an end. Currently, the last and final season of the show is running which is Season 8. However, we know that Season 7 and Season 8 had a gap of 2 years because of production delays and other reasons. Therefore, the excitement and craze around Game of Thrones Season 8 are at its peak.

You would also know if you are a fan, that the show is known for its perfection to detail. There are minute details hidden inside the episode which reveal the plot ahead for the show. There are hundreds of fan theories for what will happen next and so on. This show is based on George RR Martin’s book called “A song of Ice and Fire”. But since Season 6, the show is running ahead of the books and the new book from George RR Martin is yet to be released.

Yesterday’s episode was the fourth episode of Game of Thrones in its last season. As we already know, this season will only have 6 episodes in all. However, we are here to tell you that yesterday’s episode of Game of Thrones had a big mistake. It was evident that someone forgot to remove the Starbucks Cup from one of the scenes.

This might not be something new for shows which are shot in the present. However, Game of Thrones is a show which runs in the past. In a show where there is no electricity, the show makers forgot to remove the Coffee cup. People, after watching yesterday’s episode, starting tweeting about the same. Later, Game of Thrones’ producers clarified that this was a ‘mistake’.

The clarification was needed because users started to speculate that this might be the perfect product placement if ever there was one. But we do wonder if no one in the editing team saw the cup and edited it out of the scene. Because we now know that the scene was very important in the context of the show so it was not possible to cut that scene entirely.
