Sony has been keeping the design of its PlayStation 5 console coming later this year under wraps from a long time. We had seen that Microsoft revealed its Xbox Series X design way earlier and that was at the beginning of this year.

Some said that the company should not have revealed their design that early because it would give a slight edge to their competitor and they can tune their components better.

However, it seems like Sony’s design for the PS5 was also ready for a long time because we don’t see any influence of the Series X design to make PS5 better.

Now, we know that design and looks are a personal opinion for everyone and while, we may like some things it is possible that others will not like them. So we will leave our opinion of the Sony PS5 here which is not to say that it is everyone’s thinking.

As far as the Sony PS5 design is concerned, it must be said that the design gives a very futuristic look to the console because of the white tone with blue shades all around.

It is also a sandwich design which does look like a router while people said that the Xbox Series X looks like a mini-fridge.

So we can’t say that any of the consoles right now is a clear winner in terms of design but both of them have their uniqueness and it is up to the players what they want to get.

Sony also revealed that their PS4 series sold 108 million units ever since launch which is a 2:1 margin when compared to Xbox One series.

As per their data, Microsoft’s Xbox One series sold 49 million units ever since launch. Nintendo’s Switch sold better than the Xbox One series at 53 million units since launch.
