The talks about Twitter have been never-ending this month first because of the fact that a massive hack took place on the platform where users were scammed for bitcoins from a person who has just been identified as a 17-year-old from Tampa, Florida, US. Apart from that, Twitter also posted its earnings for the quarter that ended and it was surprising that they did not meet expectation even though their engagement was at all-time-high due to lockdown. Twitter CEO has said time and again that they will not bring the edit button to their platform any time soon.

However, talks have started about what Twitter would do to improve their revenue since it is clear that there is a problem in their revenue model. Like other platforms, Twitter also relies on their advertising business but it is not working out as expected for some explicit reason while Facebook and YouTube are soaring on the same model. So we are seeing reports of Twitter going the subscription model way as well offering premium features to those who don’t want to see ads.

Now, we are not the people who want to predict how this model will go for them but we are surely going to tell you about a report where features inside Twitter’s premium model have been discussed. It is likely that Twitter will bring features such as “Undo Send”, “Custom Colors”, “Video Publishing”, “Recruiting”, “User Roles” and others can be added. This is according to a survey that Twitter itself it carrying out for their users asking them how likely are they to pay for such features. The most interesting one is “Undo Send” where users will be able to stop the tweet from being sent within 30 seconds which will be helpful if they notice a typo after sending the tweet.
