Vivo has just announced their first smartphone in India. This smartphone is the budget offering from Vivo in their Y series. This smartphone has been named as Vivo Y91 by the company. As this is a budget offering, the smartphone is priced at Rs. 10999 in India.

Apart from that, the smartphone will be available on all major e-commerce stores including Amazon, Flipkart, PayTM Mall, and Vivo India e-store.

As for the specifications, Vivo Y91 comes with a waterdrop notch. It has a 6.2-inch display which has an HD+ resolution. As for the pixel count, this IPS display has 1520×720 pixels. On the inside, the Vivo Y91 is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 MT6762 processor rather than a Snapdragon one.

However, the downside is that there is only 2GB of RAM on the device which is a letdown for devices releasing in 2019. The internal storage of Vivo Y91 is 64GB which is enough for daily usage. Now, you also get triple slots on the Vivo Y91 which can have two SIM cards and a microSD card. As for the microSD card, you can expand up to 256GB.

Coming to the cameras on this device, we have a dual camera setup on the back and a single one on the front. As for the back, we have a 13MP primary camera which is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photos.

For the front camera, we have an 8MP selfie camera which also supports face unlock. The battery on Vivo Y91 is also pretty big as it comes with a 4030 mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS from Vivo and is based on Android 8.1 Oreo. We should expect an update to Android 9.0 Pie on this device, at least. Vivo Y91 is available in Starry Black and Ocean Blue color options
