Vivo's new patent reveals a dual pop-up setup camera design

Vivo is taking surprising moves in terms of design. We have seen the Vivo NEX smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera setup which makes the device notch-less.

The small cut which is dedicated to placing the front-facing camera and set of sensors created a trend for 2018. Many people have not liked the idea of giving notch top the display which causes a disturbance while watching videos and playing games.

Now coming to the major news, the Vivo has been recently granted by China’s National Intellectual Property Administration. The latest patent was filed on May 23, 2018, and which is recently approved in the March 1st week. According to the patent details, the next Vivo flagship smartphone will come up with a dual pop-up selfie camera design.

Going deep into the recently approved design model, the phone will have a 3.5mm audio jack at the top, which we are missing in the present smartphones. At the bottom of the phone, it has a SIM ejecting tray along with USB-C port and speaker grill.

On the right side, it has a volume controller button and another button would be the power key. The rear panel looks similar to the Vivo Nex, it features a dual camera setup along with an LED flash at the top-left corner of the device.

We have seen the Vivo Nex comes with an ultra-futuristic design where there is no front camera visible, almost no bezels and is mainly was a concept unit which made to reality. We see a unique design from Vivo, without adopting the other companies notch model. Even the phone is having no fingerprint scanner visible as it is mainly under the display of the device.

Another interesting thing is, Energizer Ultimate U620S Pop also has the same dual-camera pop-up setup. We are expecting the Vivo’s next flagship device comes with dual pop-up selfie camera setup.
