You must have seen that Samsung always come out on top when it comes to releasing smartphones that are industry-first and they always come out with some sort of new technology. However, most of the innovation from Samsung has been on the display side since it launched the hole-punch displays as well as its AMOLED panels have been the best till now. Samsung is also the best when it is regarding camera because of its software and hardware combination but it lags behind Google and Apple.

Anyways, we have a new innovation from Samsung as the company has just launched the first smartphone in the world with quantum encryption technology. This means that it will become one of the best smartphones for encryption-based security and it will be extremely hard to break it.

At first, you will see that the smartphone from Samsung is just like the others where you have the same body with the same design. But the magic lies on the inside as it has a Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) chip. This chip, as the name suggests, will be used to generate random numbers in the phone.

So the real reason why it matters is that the chip can provide “quantum encryption capabilities to the device, allowing it to generate unpredictable random numbers and create security keys for apps and services”.

Right now, we know that the conventional random number generators are used in smartphones but they are somewhat easy to crack by hackers who have been doing this day in and day out.

But with QRNG, you will have much more security against the hackers since it is new to them first of all and even if they crack the code, they will find it hard because not one code applies for all the apps.
