In the first, we currently have the Mi 8 Series, with several devices in charge, and precisely the renewal is what brings us to this article.

In May 2018, on the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 8, the manufacturer meets its own deadlines, the Xiaomi Mi 9 should arrive globally on the same date. But we heard the first rumor filtered the possible future specifications on upcoming Mi series. Maybe it’s too much to run, but the market does not wait.

Triple Rear Camera With 48 Megapixels

These first specifications that emerge on the future Xiaomi Mi 9 tell us about a possible 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, one with a small ‘notch’ on top, similar to what we already know as ‘water drop‘ and that should incorporate a fingerprint reader under the screen. Due to the size of the ‘notch’, we deduce that there will not be any type of infrared reading of the face, so we will entrust the identification to the reader and the AI of the phone.

As for the brain, Snapdragon 8150 Qualcomm, the name that could reach the market Snapdragon 855 to be presented next month during the Qualcomm Summit in Hawaii. To accompany this processor, 6GB of RAM as a basic model, 8GB of RAM as an upper model and a special version, perhaps ceramic, with 10GB of RAM.

There is more data, such as those that tell us about an internal battery of 3,700 mAh to power the set, compatible with Quick Charge 5, and a glass back covers to allow wireless charging of the phone. In principle, the Mi 9 should have 5G, thanks to its processor, although it is a connectivity that will not serve much during the first steps of its implementation.

Of course, we could not pass the data on the camera. No information on the front, but with a small preview of the back. Or, rather, of the backs. Triple camera system for this Mi 9, with three sensors of 48, 13 and 16 megapixels, even without defined characteristics but with a model on the table: the Sony IMX586.

As we said, the future Xiaomi Mi 9 should arrive next May, or at a close date, although perhaps the Chinese manufacturer will be a little faster to not be the last to have a 5G phone in circulation. We will see if everything finally rushes and we end up knowing it at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona at the end of February.
