Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Passed by FCC

Xiaomi has been keeping FCC & TENAA busy with different smartphones for their approval. Most of the time it is TENAA where we can spot a couple of devices and get a glimpse of them. This week it is the Mi Max 3 from Xiaomi and also it is from FCC, not TENAA. The Mi Max 3’s schematics have been leaked, and we can get a clear view of the placements of the front and back panel of the device. Recently there was also a leak of the Mi Max 3’s poster which was said to be leaked. But actually, it was the Redmi Note 5 Pro’s poster edited with the help of Photoshop and said to be the Mi Max 3.

Talking about the new details which were revealed by FCC listing confirms about it featuring the MIUI 9 currently, with Bluetooth 4.2. The surprising point is the phone is featuring only a single band WiFi hence there is no 5.0 GHz connectivity option available on the phone. The screen size of the device is said to be 6.99 – inches which are without any notch, hence it is a long time before we can see a budget phone with a notch. The design of the Mi Max 3 has many glimpses over the Redmi Note 5 pro. On the back also we have a vertical dual camera unit which is on the top – left the corner.

Fingerprint scanner of the phone is on the back side of the phone. On the right side of the phone, there are the usual placements of the power button and volume buttons. The phone features a very thin profile. On the back, there are antenna lines which run on the back and also confirms about the metal unibody design.

The specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 happens to sports 6GB and 4GB RAM Variants. With the RAM the phone will have two different options for storage which are 32GB and 64GB. The rear part will have the IMX363 snapper which also comes with AI support. In the interior, the phone is sporting the all new Snapdragon 710 which is the first chip in the 700 – series. The phone will be offered with a massive 4000 mAh battery and will also be bundled with an 18W fast charger.

Although the phone had MIUI 9 during the certification, the phone will come with the latest MIUI 10, offered over the Android 8.1 Oreo. As far as the launch is concerned there is no solid information over the same. Still, according to Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun confirmed about the Mi Max 3 having launched in July.
