Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 Goes on Sale with Windows 10

Chinese company Xiaomi announced the Mi Pad 2 goes on sale with the windows 10 OS. The iPad like structured device will run the windows and android OS both, but not in a dual-boot fashion. The windows 10 version of the tablet announced in china for a price tag of 1299 ($197)  Yuan for the 64GB version while the 16GB one costs around 999 ($151) Yuan. Xiaomi looking forward with a step ahead to the future by introducing a windows 10 powered tablet instead of the Xiaomi laptops which were the previous rumors in the tech world.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 runs on an Atom X5-Z8500 quad-core CPU powered by a 2 GB RAM. Both of them provides a lag free performance inside the device by supporting the OS to perform in a smooth and normal way. As I mentioned before, there are two options available for the tablet. A 16 GB and the 64 GB. Users can opt out the best one of their choice according to their needs. But, if you really want the windows 10 in your device, you should get the 64 GB version. The 16 GB one has only the android OS installed.

The design oof the device is much similar to the Apple iPad. The curved edges and the perfectly placed camera on the backside all makes an iPad feel. The flat screen dominated the front portion with the catchy Mi logo while the backside is completely dedicated for the camera with a clean and flat design on the grey metal body. 7.9-inch 2048 x 1536 resolution display can provide a better visual experience while using the device. Never fell down to the rumors the exact camera features are not yet out in any mentions. Let’s hope a better clarity because the device offers a good list of hardware.

Xiaomi’s Mi5 and the Redmi Note 3 recently launched with some good specs. The rumors were out from them to the new device in the family. It is not hidden that the Xiaomi competing with the world leaders in the smartphone products by introducing low cost devices with some good specs and some diversity. So, this windows 10 tablet may also take down some leading competitors from the playground. The dual OS tablets are rare on the market for this kind of a price range, which boosts the chance of getting a good welcome to Xiaomi. The windows 10 is to change the future of the Xiaomi tablets by making it to be a good device powered by the Microsoft OS.
