Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 and Mi Pad 3 Pro Rumors: Features, Specifications, Release Date and Price

Xiaomi Mi Pad 3

Xiaomi Mi Pad was a very popular tablet. However, due to stock related issues, the tablet was removed from the market. Moreover, the Mi Pad 2 was not released in countries outside China. If the rumors are to be believed, you can expect the launch of Mi Pad 3 and Mi Pad 3 Pro since the specifications including price details have leaked on the web.

According to an undisclosed tech portal based in China, Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil Mi Pad 3 and Mi Pad 3 Pro with features as per the latest technological standards. The Mi Pad 3 will have the same 7.9-inch retina display similar to that of Apple iPad. We don’t have any confirmation about the resolution, but we expect the same 2K display as the previous model.

Under the hood, Xiaomi will infuse 4GB RAM alongside 64/128GB internal storage. Moreover, you will work with the same MIUI interface loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. The Mi Pad 3 starts at $195 with the 128GB model costing $235. If you compare the Mi Pad, it shipped with 16GB storage. The addition of 64GB default internal storage is a huge bonus for those users who crave for more space.

When it comes to Mi Pad 3 Pro, you can expect the integration of a 9.7-inch display. However, the tablet will provide support for the 4K resolution and will most likely ship with a 128GB default storage. You can also expect 256GB variant with 6GB RAM. Hence, the tablet will be a real power horse for gaming enthusiasts.

Likely to be powered by an Intel Atom x7-Z8750 processor, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 Pro will be loaded with Windows 10 instead of Android. There are reports that the tablet will ship with both Android and Windows 10. You can expect the device to start from $250. We also hope Xiaomi to release the new Mi Pad 3 with powerful speakers with support for Dolby.

As of writing this, we don’t have any information about the expected launch date. However, you have to wait until May 2017 when the tablet will be introduced along with the flagship Xiaomi Mi 6.
