Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the flagship Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone with high-end specifications. We have seen several leaks and rumors surrounding Xiaomi Mi 6 over the past few months. However, we haven’t seen any credible information about the rumored smartphone.
The latest news is that the Xiaomi Mi6 has been listed on Oppomart ahead of the official release along with the specifications and the price. As per the listing, the Xiaomi Mi6 will be available at $299 and has been tagged as out of stock. We can see a prototype of the handset.
However, there is no indication about the expected colors. Based on the image (although not official), the Mi6 will be available in black color. You can also expect grey and gold color options.
Xiaomi Mi6 features an OLED display
On the specifications front, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi6 will feature a 5.15-inch OLED FHD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 6GB RAM, and 128GB expandable internal storage. The phone will be loaded with MIUI 8 on top of Android Nougat. The highlight of the Mi 6 is the integration of a 19MP Sony IMX400 sensor.
According to reports, the addition of a Snapdragon 835 processor enhances the performance of the phone with an impressive benchmark rating. Moreover, the Mi6 will be 25 percent faster than the currently available smartphones.
Xiaomi Mi6 will ship with Sunlight Display mode
When it comes to the display, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will have a whopping contrast ratio of 1400:1, which will deliver outstanding bright visuals. Xiaomi Mi6 will also offer Sunlight Display mode, which employs unique hardware-centric algorithms for contrast adjustment. The main purpose of the Mi6 is to enhance the readability in bright sunlight.
Xiaomi Mi6 comes with 19MP sensor
While the rear camera sensor is equipped with a 19MP Sony IMX400 sensor with support for OIS, the front-facing snapper flaunts a 13MP sensor. The sensor comes with features such as Beautify using which you can apply 36 filters to improve the quality of your selfie.
According to rumors, the Xiaomi Mi6 will provide support for fast charging with the capability to deliver a backup of 36 hours. You will be able to perform all major work without any lags.
