Xiaomi has just announced some news which will make their fans happy. The news is regarding a price cut on Xiaomi Smart TVs which were launched in India last year. Talking about the Xiaomi Smart TVs, this lineup from Xiaomi is called the Mi TV lineup. The interesting part about this TVs is that they come with HD, Full HD, and 4K panels. Other than that, you get features such as in-built WiFi, Android support as well as the ability to sideload Android apps.
Now, it is to be said that the Mi TV lineup has become hugely popular in considerably short time. This is thanks to the pricing of these Mi TVs as well as features that they offer. Now, the deal of Mi TVs has got even sweeter as Xiaomi has slashed prices of this TVs. Now, this price cut is not due to lack of demand or stock clearance. Rather, it is Xiaomi giving the advantage back to its customers. Recently, the Indian government slashes GST rates of TVs up to 32-inch in India from 28% to 18%.
Due to this, the Mi TVs which have a display size of 32-inch have gotten cheaper to manufacture for the company. So rather than Xiaomi gaining a bigger profit margin for the TVs, they decided to slash the prices and increase sales. Therefore, we now see that the Mi TV 4A, 4C Pro and the 4A Pro have received a price cut.
The Mi TV 4A 32 which was previously listed at Rs. 13,999, will now be available with a price tag of Rs. 12,499. Mind you, Mi TV 4A is among the first Mi TVs released in India by the company. Apart from that, the recently launched Mi TV 4C Pro’s price has also been reduced from Rs. 15,999 to Rs. 13,999. As for the Mi TV 4A Pro, its prices are slashed from Rs. 15,999 to Rs. 14,499.
