Xiaomi has reported a sales figure which is tremendous and very hard to swallow. Yes, Xiaomi’s sales figures from the recently concluded Diwali sale are out. We already expected Xiaomi to perform great in the Indian markets as it has a stronghold of it. However, the sales figures suggest that it has exceeded expectations of the company themselves. According to the report published by Xiaomi, the company sold more than 6 million smartphones in India during the Diwali sale.

Now, we know that Xiaomi sells smartphones both on Amazon India as well as Flipkart. Therefore, this figure is a combined data from the sales of Xiaomi smartphones on both the e-commerce giants. Moreover, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the Redmi 6A was the No.1 selling Xiaomi smartphone once again. We have already known that the Redmi 5A is still selling like hot cakes in India. Also, the other fascinating stat is that all of the top-10 best-selling smartphones in India during the sale were Xiaomi smartphones.

Particularly on Flipkart, the Redmi Note 5 Pro has become the No.1 best selling smartphone. This is also due to the fact that Redmi Note 5 Pro saw a price drop of Rs. 2000 in India. This meant that the Redmi Note 5 Pro which was originally priced at Rs. 14,999 sold for Rs. 12999 during the sale. Add to that the instant discount offers on SBI credit and debit cards and you have a winner. Also, this is not to say that Redmi Note 5 Pro was overpriced at the original price. Even at the earlier price, Redmi Note 5 Pro sold in numbers.

Xiaomi also reported that 4 Lakh Mi TVs were sold in the Diwali sale alone. All of these sales numbers from Xiaomi are taken from the period of October 9, 2018-November 8, 2018, which Xiaomi marketed as the “Diwali with Mi” sale period.
