Xiaomi will launch new Apple AirPods competitor named as ‘Mi AirDots’; along with new headphones

How to Check Your AirPods Battery Life on an Android Phone

Xiaomi is finally going to release the truly wireless earphones under their Mi-series of headphones and earphones. It is known that these earphones from Xiaomi will be a copy of the Apple AirPods. However, it is unknown whether this will come in a case same as Apple AirPods.

These earphones will be named as Mi AirDots, the name truly being inspired by Apple AirPods as well. It is also found out that Xiaomi will release new earphones and headphones along with the Mi AirDots.

OnePlus earlier this year released OnePlus Bullets Wireless which were wireless earphones with a strap around the neck. However, Xiaomi’s Mi AirDots will be truly wireless according to the leaks. It is also known that Xiaomi releases its products at extremely affordable prices.

Therefore, it is a given that the Xiaomi Mi AirDots will be fairly affordable as well. This is not the say that the quality is any lesser from Xiaomi. Xiaomi’s earphones have always been of the highest quality as well. Now, we also know that there are currently no offerings in terms of budget wireless earphones. So, Xiaomi’s Mi AirDots will definitely be punching a hole in the market.

It is also rumored that the Xiaomi Mi AirDots will come with either Bluetooth 4.2 or Bluetooth 5.0 support. This is the latest standard of Bluetooth which is currently available. Bluetooth 5.0 was released this year with better support for connectivity and range. Also, the latest standard of Bluetooth supports HD sound transmitted wirelessly with minimal loss or delay.

On the other hand, battery life is also important in wireless headphones or earphones. Adding to that, Xiaomi’s Mi AirDots are expected to have the best-in-class battery life as well. Therefore, we should definitely be excited about the launch of Mi AirDots. More so because smartphones nowadays are coming without headphone jacks as well.
