The low and middle ranges of Xiaomi already contain numerous models that in many cases hardly present differences in their spec sheet. This is where the Redmi phones are located, among which, without a doubt, the Redmi 6 stands out.
Well, it seems that this model, which is located one step above the Redmi 6A and one step below the Note terminals, will have a successor sooner rather than later. At least, that is what is deduced after a new Xiaomi terminal has appeared in TENAA with dual rear camera and 5.84-inch screen.
Will Arrive In Three Variants?
Like OPPO and Vivo, Xiaomi is preparing its first mid-range smartphone with a notch in the form of a drop of water, which will probably be announced next January. In that notch is where the front camera will go, which as we see, is not double, but has a single sensor.
The terminal in question has not only been certified by TENAA in China with the model number M1901F9T but has also obtained the 3C certification under the numbers M1901F7E, M1901F7T and M1901F7C, which suggests that we are facing the Xiaomi Redmi 7 and its Redmi 7 Pro and Redmi 7A variants.
The list and the images appeared in TENAA reveal the presence of dual rear cameras with Artificial Intelligence functions arranged vertically and a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back. It is also mentioned that it will include a battery of 2,900 mAh and that it will run under the Android operating system, but without confirming the version.
In addition, the diagonal of the screen (5.84 inches, without data about the resolution) and the general dimensions of the terminal have been confirmed : 147.76 x71.89 x 7.8 mm ; we have, therefore, measures very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi 6 and a screen of the same size as the Redmi 6 Pro . The rest of the specifications will probably be known through TENAA in the coming days.
