Last year, there was the incident of YouTuber brothers, Logan and Jake Paul, visiting Japan’s suicide forest. On top of that, they even filmed inside the suicide forest showing bodies of humans who had committed suicide. However, things took a turn for wrong when they were even making fun of them on camera. Now, we have a similar-yet-different case involving someone’s murder.
This goes back to 2018 when a couple from America visited Cyprus. YouTuber named Sarah Funk, with her husband, visited what is famously called the Misero Red Lake in Cyprus. Now, the reason for this lake being red is because it is extremely toxic and is completely filled with an acidic substance. However, it has become a great spot for tourists and influencers and take photos.
Now, Sarah Funk has a YouTube channel where she posted the video of this visit to Misero Red Lake as well. In the video, we can see that they are saying that the lake spells absolutely “gross” due to it being toxic and acidic, obviously. However, the interesting part is where Sarah is seen squatting on her knees to take a photo of an object inside the lake. It turns out that the object was a suitcase.
And the shocking revelation is that the suitcase contained the dead body of women who were murdered. After the crime, the dead body was packed and dumped into the lake. Sarah Funk unknowingly clicked photos of this suitcase and posted the video on her YouTube channel. Now that the news regarding that suitcase has come out after the murdered accepted his crime, Sarah has posted her photo of that suitcase. She says that “This is terrible and I am devastated for the victims’ families” and also adds that she felt something “eerie” but she did not notice “anything completely out of the norm”
