Trophies are the sign of your wins and loses in Clash of Clans battles. Every time you win a battle in COC, you will be rewarded trophies according to the enemy power that you have battled with. Trophy earning will vary for different battles between different enemies. You will also earn trophies from the enemy raids. If your defense wins while an enemy attacks your village, you will earn trophies from the enemy. If your defense loses against the enemy attack, you lose trophies from your collection. So, it is an all in one measurement of how much battles you have won and how strong your village and your army is.
Gaining more trophies will increase your reputation all over the game. To join a Clan you may need some good amount of trophies. The clans can set a minimum amount of trophies required by a member. If you don’t meet that requirement, you can’t join the clan. If you are already on a clan and you lose too much trophies from battles and came under the required trophies, you will be kicked out of the clan. To earn trophies, there are several methods as i mentioned above. First of all, you have to build a strong defense by upgrading your walls and placing so much defense equipments like Mortar, Canon, Archer Towers, Air Defence, etc… They can be unlocked one by one as soon as you upgrade your Town Hall to the required levels. You need to also build a strong army to ensure the win while attacking other villages. Remember that, they will also have all defenses as you have or more than you have. Each trophy you are earning will be added to your profile and will be listed everytime you applying or creating a clan. Looking to a clan, you will see the players are sorted and ranked according to the total number of trophies they have earned. Like that, looking to the best COC players list, they will be also ranked based on the trophies. The clan power is also based on the total trophies that have earned by all members on the clan.
