Most importantly, the Imangi team worked a lot on the new environment and themes throughout the Run.
New obstacles are also introduced in the game to add a little more excitement to the gameplay. Improved graphics could be easily noticed at the first look itself. The functions are nothing better but still has few changes. There are several new achievements in the game that could be unlocked by completing the extra tasks or completing particular skills. Special powers are added to each character which is a brand new feature introduced with the Temple Run 2. In the previous version, all characters had almost same style of run and literally no skills were there.
New messages and notifications are also added in the new version with some changes. But one thing we got a negative feeling is some places (Especially some green ones) makes it difficult to see the obstacles and frequently makes it difficult to look at the screen for sensitive eyes. The color looks very intense that outputs a lot of intense rays. But for some, it is a great visual experience to play in such a challenging condition.
